Christmas Log Cabin

This is the quilt I made that gave me the quilting bug. I made it about 4 years ago, just after Ethan was born. I had high hopes to hand quilt it, but that wasn't happening, so I let my mom quilt it on her long arm, and I am so glad I did... It turned out amazing. You can see more pictures of it at my mom's webshots page:

beautiful quilts. i am so envious. i'm a very amateur quilter... i aspire to do something like this on day. as for your question about when to send the swap package, after I assign partners (which should be emailed within a day or two of the june 8th sign up deadline) then you have about two weeks to send packages. I just ask that they are postmarked by june 25th. if that's a problem, let me know.... we can probably work something out. hope you can join us!

Hey, Ginger!

It was great to hear from you! I guess maybe if people are actually going to check out my blog I should start posting.

Your quilts are beautiful! I especially love the red and green. Your bug pictures are beautiful as well, particularly the orb spider one.

I've a couple of questions for you:

What have you read or heard of Lili Anderson? Did you know she's my mom? I know your folks heard her speak once, but I didn't know it trickled back to the mid west! Also, I was just curious about your power ranger site -- what's that about?
